The Trail Less Traveled
Rich, Belinda, Melissa and I decide to enjoy a beautiful blue sky Sunday and head out into Rocky Mountain National Park for a snowshoe hike. Our goal was to hike up to Emerald Lake, but we took a detour after crossing Nymph Lake and blazed a trail of our own. We are sure glad we did, because the traffic of people hiking on the main trail was like driving on I-25 in rush hour. It was nice to get away from everyone on that packed down trail and have an adventure of our own. The views were amazing, the weather was great and the snow was deep.
Check out more photos from our hike HERE.

Change Has Come
Barack Obama is now the 44th President of the United States of America. But the change is not solely on his shoulders. Together we must all unite and work toward change four our country in order to see it heads down a different path than it has traveled in the past eight years.
I ask you to make a change in your life that will better yourself, your family, your coworkers and all those who surround you from day to day. Even the little things will help. Recycle more. Change all your lights to energy efficient bulbs. Volunteer. Buy only what you can afford and don't rely on credit. Donate to a charity. Pay your mortgage. Don't purchase a house if you can't afford it. Ride your bike to work. Encourage others to change for the positive. Only the power of the whole will actually move this country towards change. Let's all do our part and make the USA a better place for our children and our children's children.
